Best Image of the Year Photographic
Competition:
To
win the trophy submit your best image of the year.
ANNUAL
PHOTOGRAPH OF THE YEAR
COMPETITION
- Entries JUDGED during AGM
Entrants are asked to submit what they think is their best shot
and, at each Annual General Meeting, WAUPS members will vote on
the BEST Underwater Image taken in the preceding year between
AGMs.
The
competition is open to all forms of underwater photography i.e.
slide, film and digital.
There
will be NO runner up/second/third place in this competition; hence
only one image need be entered.
The
prize will be a perpetual trophy.
Annual
winners names and year of winning will be added to the trophy and
the trophy displayed at each annual meeting.
The
rules for the competition will be as follows: -

Entry to members only |
Images must be taken in Western Australian waters |
|
Members are permitted one entry only |
Only minor adjustments allowed for RAW images
e.g. sharpening, etc
Digitally
"modified" images that display excessive enhancement or that
owe their "content", total or in part, to the post
photographic processes of subject duplication, combining
of images of differing content or the creation of new image
elements by any other process, may not be entered |

Images must be taken underwater |

Images winning any other WAUPS competition are
eligible for entry in this Competition |
|
Image must have been taken between respective AGMs i.e.
Photographs entered for the 2007 competition must be taken
after the 2006 AGM. Photographs entered in the 2008
competition must be taken after the 2007 AGM. |
