Day Dive Competition
Apart from getting together on club nights to review slides, we also get out there and take them in regular club competitions. These occur as "Day Dives". On a "Day Dive" all photos are taken by all members involved on the same dives and under the same conditions. These conditions can be great, or as "Huey" often does to us, they can be bad. So the idea is to get the best possible shot under the conditions. This really puts ingenuity to the test, and if you are a novice, it is good to see just how the "old Seaweeds" handle it.

A maximum of 3 slides per competitor can be submitted, although images can be Wide Angle, Macro, Portrait etc, whatever the member feels will have the most impact on the judging. This is done so as not to limit entry into the competition to only those that had all the "gear" to fill the needs of each of those types of image.
